I got Bio 1 for free off steam for preordering the sequel. However, I launch it, set my graphics settings and press "new game/medium". The splash screen starts to fade in... And then stops entirely. I just get a semi-darkened loading screen, and the first mision won't start! I then have to Cntrl Alt Del to get back to the desktop. WTH?

I'm playing on Vista with an 8800GT card and good enough specs for the game.

EDIT: Basically the problem only seems to occur when I'm loading a level in fullscreen, it works fine in windowed. Wierd, eh?

Try this.

Go to Control Panel. Then choose Programs, followed by Turn Windows Features On or Off. Uncheck Tablet PC Optional Components and restart your computer when you're asked to.Steam Post
