Bioshock 2 adam amount

So I played the good way and saved all the girls for less adam at a time but they often rewarded me with gifts which usually contained more adam.

I'm guessing if I slaughted all the girls for the full adam, the amount of adam would be exactly the same as the good way, no? Or do you truly get lots more overall the bad way?

You get slightly more overall the bad way. But the good way you get tonics that are unobtainable any other way.
