Bioshock 2 keeps crashing near the end (no spoilers)

I finished all the little sister gathers and about to return the last little sister but when I walk up to the vent my game just crashes and now everytime I reload that save it crashes aswell, I have a earlier save aswell but as soon as I get to that point again the game crashes.

Anyone else having this problem?

I keep crashing right at the start when you first see big sister.

Well I've had zero problems up to this point.No freezing,glitching or anything like that and it's a shame now because I was really enjoying it :(

Try this: delete the folder C:\Users\(USER -- whatever is there)\AppData\Roaming\Bioshock2 (you can make a copy just in case if you want).

The game will then rebuild it, and I heard that that did the trick for people with the same problem.
