Hey there friends. Can I run Bioshock with this PC or should i get the XBOX 360 version. The same question goes for Assissan's Creed when it comes out for the PC.

WIN XP SP2

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 3800 2.01 GHz

2.00 GB of ram

SLI configuration 2x Nvidia geforce 8600 GTS

and the SB X-Fi card.

Thanks alot. I have yet to play these games, but I really want to. Should i go PC or xbox360. Both are in the same spot and are hooked up to the same monitor. So it's not a couch or pc chair issue.

you can definitely run bioshock on high settings at a high resolution. i can run on high settings at 12x10, and my pc is nowhere near as good (d2.8, 1gb ram, 8600gt). don't know about assassin's creed; i doubt the specs are out yet for that game.

You won't have any issues with Bioshock on PC.

Assassin's Creed is not out on PC yet. If you really want to play it, pick it up on 360. But if you want to see if your computer can run it, I suggest to try and be patient until the offical requirements are released.

I've seen rumored requirements and if they're true, you might get by with running AC on medium settings. I'm hoping the requirements I've seen are rated much too high.

You will easily max out BioShock in DX9 on that setup. Hell, I can get mostly high and 25fps on a X1650 Pro... you have dual 8600's... :|

They aren't real, things like that come out all the time to spook people, but it's a load of crap because not even the 360 and PS3 have the same requirements as the setup posted.

Also, I don't know if AC will have Mods or better controls or anything like that, but I highly doubt it will be very different because Ubi has practically abandoned the PC, so if you DO have the other platforms, if wouldn't hurt to get it (although it's an extra 60 bucks which is crazy), but the game is very dissapointing anyway (mainly if you've been following it since that awesome debut trailer.)
