Bioshock demo question

Ok, so i've installed the demo etc and it runs the menu fine but as soon as i hit the play demo button it hangs and stops responding? any ideas what could be wrong?

downloaded all the latest drivers?

got it from gamershell. i'm gonna try an uninstall-reinstalstumunro

download from gamespot. at least you know that someone with similar specs as yours (a little worse, mine is) got it to run using that download.

Still not working! my laptop will run crysis for **** sake, why not bioshock?stumunro
