Hi everyone. I have heard that Bioshock has two different endings. One where you have the little sisters saved and other one is the evil ending.
Currently I am in the Rapture Control Central level. I have rescued all the sisters except 2. I mean I harvested only two little sisters.
As I am getting 200 adam as gift after saving four sisters; I don't think that I need to harvest sisters for more adam anymore.
Now my question is- as I harvested two sisters, will I have a good ending? I am not going to kill any of them again. I will rescue all the sisters in the coming levels. So what ending I will have as I killed 2 sisters already?
I think you'll still get the good ending. As I heard the ending depends on the "average" times you harvested or saved the girls. but since you rescued the majority you should get the good ending.
I am trying to harvest every single one. And I try to destroy everyone else I see even if they are on my team. And I usually wreck up the place real bad if I get the chance. I'm just trying to fit in into this sub-aquatic city.

i think the idea of harvesting is preety useless...i have only elctro shock and the power which drwas and throws...except these only the plasmid which creates a dummy of you to distract the splicers can be useful...the other plasmids are not necessary...cz you get a gun which can freeze and melt...so these plasmids are not needed.so why more adam? and the tonics...i am getting all the good tonics by researching and roaming around the aqua city..and if you want to buy other tonics from gatherer's garden..that also needs short amount of adam...the only thing for which you need larger adam is plasmid or tonic slot.but plenty adam (200 adam and a bonus plasmid) can be got as gift from Tenebaum if you save four sisters.
i read a walkthrough which said that if i harvest even one sister i will have evil ending...aahhhh...man i really wantd to see the good ending.bad luck.
i read that bioshock 2 will come in the middle of 2009...really looking forward to that...
hai what do you guyz think about bioshock 2? i mean will it have a brand new different story or start from where the first part ended?
if you have the sisters as your family then there cant be any new stories from this...even if you capture the city as the evil ending...you are not getting any story from it...
i wonder how thses 2K guyz are going to make another out-of-the world game...but whatever it is..it will surely be amazing like the part 1...at least the graphics will be stunning...and we will again need to upgrade our pc.:D

I would not say the story went down hill...it was more like they just stopped telling it and said hurry up and finish the game. Either way, I believe killing two sisters is the max for getting the good ending. There really is no need to harvest them anyways. I still think Bioshock is a great game though even with the rushed ending(s).
I don't really think it's too hard to concieve a sequel plot to this story. Let's say regarless of what ending they go with, that the new one is based in a secondary submersed city, although that might be boring. What if we find out that there were muliple genetic experiments sent into the general population, and your job in the game is to do everything anyone asks prefaced with "Would you kindly?" ;) Kidding about the last part, kinda, we'll just have to see. Don't screw this up 2k!

guyz...i jut finished the game..and i got the BAD ending...though i harvested only 2 sisters...but i really didn't understand what happened at the end....i agree...after killing ryan...the story seemed going in a hurry...but anyways bioshock was an amazing game...superb.
so the final thing is even if you harvest a little sister..you will get the bad ending..to get a good ending you will have to save them all.
I got both good guy and evil dude endings, to be honest they are both crappy, such a shame that somethingas well developed as Bioshock had to end on such a sour note, though it's still not as bad as Halo 2's ending *shudder*

I wouldn't say that. It was more just a strange change in momentum of the story. It makes you feel a bit uncomfortable. But perhaps that is exactly the point. I was expecting the bit with Ryan to be the end and then it goes on much longer than that. Its an anti-climax of sorts!
I thought the bad ending was a bit poor but the good one was very sweet and since I saw that second it was a nice surprise.
The bad one is... bad. What if I didn't want to blow up the world? I just had to sacrifice the lil' sisters to get some better weapons to kill the bad guy...
