The game it's self is playable and is pretty enjoyable (probably in the top 10 best FPS in my book), the DLC isn't out yet.

Nobody knows what it contains yet, so anybody saying that it's worth it or not worth it is purely guessing. Why not wait and see what the first DLC pack actually contains?

This.

If you buy it now, you're essentially pre-ordering DLC you know little to nothing about. I'd wait until we get more details.

This. I wouldn't buy it right now until the developers announce the DLCs.

As others have said, the Season Pass is essentially preordering DLC. None of the DLC is out yet, but if you buy the season pass, you get automatic access to them as soon as they're released, and you get all of them, at a slight discount compared to what you'd spend buying them one at a time. According to the little season pass card I got with my retail copy, it gets you "3 DLCs for the price of 2". So I guess that means that the 3 planned DLCs will launch for $10 each, or you can get all three for $20 with the season pass.

I was really tempted to get it early as to I loved the game.  I decided to wait until they release further deatails however. :)

There have been plenty of instances of a fantastic game having mediocre DLC. I'd wait to see what is released, no point preordering DLC blind.
