Based on other people's testimonials, it'll probably max it out or at the very least play it on high.

Eh I'd say it's probably closer to high settings, having played both versions of the demo.. but only due to UE3's texture streaming.
no its not, they will just say anything to justify them buying a $800+ pc that has the same performance as a 360 that costs hundreds less. you may get higher fps and a mouse but you spend way to **** much when you can play as less as 280 to play bioshock flawlessly on 360 with no problems and any other game thats comes out on it.WraithsLotus
True. But then again, their games won't be stuck using technology from the year 2006 for the next four years like yours will.

No one is ever "stuck" with a console. If 2 to 3 years from now PC games start looking significantly better than consoles people can also get a new PC.
To the TC, you'll have to get the demo to find out for certain. The 7950GT may be fine for bioshock if it's not too shader heavy.

i really hope you're speaking from experience.. because the only thing gamers have gained in the past year.. is dx10. gfx cards have only gained more shaders and faster speeds.. graphical enhancements haven't gone passed what's hard coded into the games xbox 360/pc gamers are playing. now when games start to support 512 meg cards.. and use them to its potential.. then yeah.. sh|t out of luck for consoles.. until the next-next gen.
