I haven't heard anything about it using DX11, so I think it's very unlikely that it will.

Dont think so, maybe DX10 but seeing that the game is on consoles im guessing DX9.

Yep the original Bioshock did have Dx10 ...... not that you noticed any difference between the Dx9 and Dx10 version mind you. I think it is highly highly unlikely that Bioshock 2 will have Dx11. I would say if anything it will even ditch Dx10 and just come out as a Dx9 game.

when u moved in the water it looked more realistic then dx9 but other then that nothing major

So are you asking if the game will require DX11 or have optional support for DX11? I'm 100% sure that it wont require DX11, I doubt that it will support the extra DX11 features.

Probabaly not. The game itself looks the exact same as Bioshock which is kind of disappointing.

The originals so called DX10 features like volumetric smoke can all be done in DX9.

If it had DX11they would simply be features that are unlocked with a dx11 card.

I wonder if BF BC2 will have true DX11 support or more marketing bs.

Saying it will use DX11 will probably result in more sales. My guess is it will have DX11 support, but very minimal and hardly noticeable.
