I think it's retarded that a Canadian company is excluding Canadians from their 15 year anniversary event.
Gotta wonder what they were thinking, ostracizing a huge group of their customers from this 'community' event :\ . They might change their minds after this huge wave of discontent though...
Was wondering how long before this made it to Gamespot... and now for this thread to degenerate into an out and out war, with plenty of I hate america bumper stickers thrown in for good measure. (Don't know what I am talking about? Take a look at the official Social Site threads on the subject) The essense of the 'auction' is basic: You tweet out little links, answer questions on twitter, etc and you get 'points' that you can use in a 'pseudo auction' for schwag. The catch is that it is only available in 48 of the 50 US states, and not available at all internationally (NY, FL, Canada, and all other countries are excluded from this particular 'event'). Yes, its a bad idea. No, it is not Americas fault. (had to get that out of the way).carlosjuero
Yeah im from Canada and im really confusedas to why i cant participate in a Canadian companies "community" auction. But its not the states fault, last thing we need is a bunch of 12 year olds trolling the states.
Edit: just thought of something, Canada's online gambling rules are much more strict then the states, so it could be that.
"People get "tokens" and can use them to bid on prizes auction style.
They can get these tokens a number of different ways. One way is by each person gets a unique link they if people click it they get tokens."
Thanks for the spam ad, OP. Your link goes to a purchase screen, not a source.

It's Canadian law that giveaways have to be participated in. Eg. Answering a question.
Sucks that Florida is excluded, I've won giveways before, so I don't see what the problem is for Florida. (Was never taxed or anything)
