BioWare Mythic is now known as Mythic

There is trouble in the paradise and looks like EA isn't happy with Bioware after KOTORO fiasco. Now that doctors were kicked out its time to reorganize rest of the assets. Henceforth BioWare Mythic is now known as Mythic and BioWare Victory now Victory again.

I think the doctors left of their own accord. They weren't kicked out.

This can only be seen as good news. EA was on the road to streching out and destroying the Bioware identity. Having the studios have unique identitys is a good thing. All having them carry the Bioware name is just a dumb marketing ploy.

They left because they were not wanted anymore by EA and a painful reminder. EA had high stakes or KOTOR MMO and it failed by their standards. Somebody has to take the blame. This is just AFTER EFFECT of EA restructuring Bioware. By the way DA3 and ME4 are their last chance if they don't deliver they will suffer the same fate as Westwood or worst as Mythic stuck in limbo and not moving foward.

In other news, Mythic still destroyed Warhammer Online and Daoc and they still suck as a company.

With Ray and Greg retiring there's no one left at Bioware to run a huge, multi-studio division. I'm surprised it took this long to break those teams back off.

EA Executive 1: "Guys, I have a brilliant idea on how we can make more money. We bought the Bioware development studio, which already has some highly successful games under its belt. Let's call some other studios 'Bioware', and then those studios will make equally successful games."

EA Executive 2: "Your logic is flawless. Let's do it."
