My birthday is coming up (April 1st) and im planing to ask for a new TV due to my standard definition TV not cutting it anymore. Im planing on using it for Xbox 360 and classic systems only so HD is a must. I'm not the son of a doctor or spoiled at all so it will have to cost somewhere around 250$, as long as I don't ask for anything else.

Any suggestions? Size does not matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111one!

i dont think parents spending 250 for their kids birthday is spoiling them...maybe it seems like alot to you because you are poor or something, or maybe your parents dont love you... for around 250 your not gunna get anything great probably like 19or 20 inch and that wouldnt even be worth it... try an save up some and go for 32 inches thats a good size for gaming in your room.. dont waste your money on a 26 inch when only a little more money and u can get the 32 which might not seem that much bigger but it is..i personally have a 42 inch plasma but i have a 32 in in my bedroom and i used to use that b efore i bought my plasma and it was pretty good. if you have space a 32in slimfit crt hdtv is pretty cheap and the picture is really quite good for gaming in 720p, in fact the samsung slimfit 30 inch hdtv is around 450 and its pretty good its much thinner then a regular crt tv. so instead of getting a 26 inch lcd you could go bigger and cheaper and you wont even know its not flat panel unless you look behind it.
