OK, could i play against another PC across my network using one 1 disc? For example, i have a copy of Halo for PC and my bro will be home soon with his PC, and he will be connected to my network, so could i just play him using 1 disc? Might be a bit stupid, but i no nothing much about PC gaming, more of a console boy. Thx in advance.
I have a network, and I dont really think one disk will cut it. You will probably need 2 disks. We are talking about a microsoft product that you are trying to play. They require the code to put the game on your computer, and he will probably have to have a different copy to play. It's a good question though, to bad I threw my copy away long ago when it kept on crashing on me, or I could answer with more certainty
Nope won't work. Multiplayer track CD keys. So only one CD key can be online at once. Also, The game probably won't run without the CD in the comp. I don't have Halo on my PC but I could be mistaken.
If you only plan on playing your brother and not fully online, then install the game and get a different CD key from the internet, then download a no-cd crack. Install the game on your bro's PC, enter the false CD key, then crack with the No CD. Then install on your PC with the genuine CD key and go have fun!
