hey, quick question.

i went to charlieoscardelta.com to register for the cod 4 beta. I did that, and i went back today to see if it was up. sadly enough, i wrote 2004 in the age confirm gate. After deleting cookies, i could still not get in. The other PC is slow, so i went to firefox.com to d/L firefox. As i went to click run, AVG identified it as a virus. I stopped it, and then realized it was probably a false positive. I went to do a full system check. It turned out that 32 files were infected with trojan horse generic6.UMS. i think i deleted all of em, but i did it again and there were 6 mroe. just suggestions if possible, im pretty decent with comps, but never have had a virus.

You might want to try deactivating AVG for a bit, and getting Antivir or Avast, just to ensure you got rid of everything. You can switch back after that if you prefer, or you can just keep one of them if you prefer.

For me: if i hade a virus and the anti-virus couldn't delete it, I delete it manually by going to the virus location.

You can know the location of the virus from the anti-virus.
