black ops crashing

when i load up black ops, it gets to the treyarch video, and then the screen flickers a bit and the audio continues but the game just stops moving....im left with the loading vista circle just sitting there....can't even control the in game mouse....help me plz

IT IS NOT THE SPECS....people that have this problem say it has NOTHING to do with that....

ATI Radeon 4870 x2 AND ITS UPDATED.....that is the only thing that would restrict it from working properly and it is not corrupt

If you know of other peoeple who have this problem, and they say it has nothing to do with the computer.. then what other ideas have they had? I guarantee you that it has something to do with your system's specs. We're not saying that your computer isn't good enough.. we just need more details about your hardware, operating system, etc..

Because, obviously the game doesn't crash like this on everyone's computer. There must be something about your computer and other people's computers that the game doesn't like. That's why we ask for specs.

Install the latest DirectX from the disc.

The reason we ask for specs is NOT because we are gonna say you PC is too low ... the point is so we can have a friggen starting point for diagnosing your issue. Sometimes particular parts and components dont play well together or with a particular game... the point is, if you tell us nothing, dont expect anything as an answer -_-. Anyways. Reinstall video drivers, the latest are 10.10D hotfix, or you can try TwL or von modded drivers.

Reinstall sound drivers

That's what advice I can give you, the game is really buggy for a lot of people right now.
