We all expected Modern Warfare 2 to be the best game yet, in which it was. But only about 4 months later are the creators coming out with a new one. It is somewhat obvious that they thought if you would buy call of duty modern warefare 2, that you'll buye the same exact thing. The only exception is that you get what maybe the ability to add and emblem and switch clothes? From the honest reviewer that only states what is being shown, is it worth your money to get this new gam? There have been better releases for these consoles. I can understand that customization is a big deal. But, remember that the online community for those of you who have MW2 will shrink in this charade to get the gamers to go for the bait.
yes 4 months later. The Game developers in my sense have become very pretentious and are trying to get other non call of duty fans to purchase the game. it is not so much that the game is new that gives it the lasting appeal, but more that it is a game in which your mind changes events, more or less. If it had been an earlier release and then modern warfare 2 came out im very certain comparing the two games actual lasting appeal, MW2 is the one to go with

Yup this, not only that but ya mw2 came out almost a year ago, besides treyarch>>IW, trey actually adds sweet crap to there games.
I'm excited, why wouldn't I be? I enjoy the Single player a ton in CoD4,WaW, and MW2. Now that they have dedicated servers and mod tools, the game will have the staying power which MW2 lacked.

An unbelievably short campaign, no mod support, no dedicated servers, only 16 players per map, only P2P online, overpriced map packs, an overpriced game, almost no updates on gameplay, almost no effort to stop cheaters... Seriously, MW2 is probably the supreme candidate for the crappiest game made from a big budget, like how the movie 2012 was. Sure, the made big bucks and had pretty CG, but you'd have to be insane to think it was the greatest movie ever. Same parallel for MW2.

Sorry, but I cannot continue reading after that... this. MW2 was TERRIBAD, worst gmae ive ever played and an insult to PC gamers. Worst game is a bit too far... Try "Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing"...
CoD in general took a nose dive after modern warfare.... mw 1 was just a slightly above avg shooter for the time. There are so many more games coming out in the next 3 to 6 months that will have a lot more potential and depth.
Don't go for the ball folks. I just got the PC version of CODMWF2. I don't think its going to die out anytime soon. I think MWF2 can still be saved yet. :D

What?? You JUST got it? a bit late to the party dude. MW2 MP is now empty (unless in Deathmatch), and there are hackers galore.... what a shame, it was actually quite fun at the start....

This is why I am eager to see the return of dedicated servers to Black Ops because that will keep the game going for a while.

Yes, but don't make the same mistake as in waiting for the game to come down in price, cause by then people will have moved on to other games. Buy it at the start where everyone is playing and you can easily find a match in any mode...

As well, And I love the multi-player in cod4. Didn't get to play Waw yet, but I will get it before long.
