[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"] [QUOTE="TrooperManaic"]thats only 13.50 more per year. its nothing you could help shovel the snow and make more then that.sSubZerOo
thats not the point. This occurs all the time with essentially everything a person can be "billed" for; internet, cable, and now WoW I suppose.
Its the fact that they dont provide an explanation. Furthermore, Blizzard's parent company Vivendi iirc grossed over 1 BILLION (!!!) dollars this year and the majority of that was from WoW subscriptions iirc. Seems pretty unreasonable to hike the price up over a dollar.
Its the companies goal to make the most money possible.. I fail to see why people would expect any such deviation from this goal from a company.
What you have to realize is that most (not all) people are acceptive of changes or high prices if things are explained to them right from the start. What people don't like are surprises when it comes to things, even if it is minute.
The company I work for is strongly based on new construction and since new construction (especially homes) has been way down for the pat 2-3 years, work has been slow. We are genearlly given a review at the start of every year and informed if we are getting a raise and how much....this year the upper management (the owner and his two sons) have not said a word to anyone. People have asked and we've been ignored...
People don't like bad surprises. If I was in the OP's position and noticed I was paying more then I agreed to when I signed up, I'd be pretty pissed, too.
