in that case, i wouldnt want to know what it was since it probably wont be coming out until 2010-12. Im pretty sure they're working harder on SC 2. which i wish they didnt announce yet either since its still plenty far from releasing unless they surprise us with a early 2009 release. or maybe even a late 2008 :O
well, supposedly, someone overheard a blizzard employee mention that he's working on project hydra, and that's how the rumor started. it hasn't been officially announced. there are many speculations though as to what project hydra is: some think it's a new mmo (starcraft?); some think it's diablo 3 (*crossing fingers*); some think it's another wow expansion. but no one knows for certain.
ya i heard too but its kinda weird to name it after the hydra. it makes it sound a lot like a hydralisk :P and didnt a lot of the original diablo 2 team go make hellgate london? anyway, a diablo 3 would be great, i just dont see how a mmo starcraft could really work. maybe in theory but when implemented it seems its better off being a mmofps or maybe a 3rd person shooter allowing for the zerg and protoss too work since they arent fps material. are not as much as the terran.
it better not be another wow expansion. they dont needa codename for it :P its not going to be surprising and itll be good news only for those that already play wow. i was actually hyped up for wow until i learned there was a subscription. i only had a magazine back then and when i looked online, it wouldnt mention the price anywhere until like a 1 hour search :P
