Can it be Starcraft or Diablo or a new franchise? I think it might be Starcraft because it can be made relitively the same as WoW except in a different universe, and they can make it coencide with the Starcraft 2 launch. What universe do u think it will be in?
I'd be more apt to play a Diablo based MMO than a Starcraft one. I liked Starcraft but I didn't stick with me like the Diablo series. Which series made more money?

Why a butcher?
the butcher is a character in diablo, the first sub-boss you run into and pretty scary (it walks fast and hacks you with this big-@$$ cleaver). it comes at you and growls, 'ahh... fresh meat!' first time i encountered it, i ran away, screaming! :D
I reckon its going to be the Diablo series, they can still really expand on the series in terms of story.Reason why i dont think its going to be starcraft, well because they are working on the RTS version of it.
While if starcraft went to be a mmo, i reckon it will use the same mechanics with some extra features thrown into the mix like WoW with a SC skin over the top.
While Diablo they could use very similar mechanics but also make it different in terms of graphics and so forth. I dunno, we'll see, time will tell.
