But if you are legit, why on earth would you buy Alienware? The only reason I bought my system from them is because I have a friend who got me a discount.

Now then Alienware....seriously if you buy a Alienware you sir must be a fool. They are stupidly overpriced and the laptops especially are, I've seen similar spec laptops for half the price and a so much better brand name on it.

As for Blizzard, overall I hate them Diablo is the only series they make I enjoy.

Steam is the future for Pc gaming, in a few years you won't be able to walk into a store and pick up a game you will have no choice but to download it.

im a junior in college and my life revolves around steam so umm no wrong

im not even going to count the games that you can find on the console. I just bought a brand new alienware m17x and i went to EB games and future shop and everything their is garbage! i bought WOW, and crysis for my bro, steam is good but not that good, its more like for 7th graders that cant afford games and share accounts. seriously if we weren't waiting for diablo 3 or starcraft 2 i would slit my wrists ( NOT REALLY )!!!basketball

That's a completely ridiculous statement OP. How can one company hold an entire market with only one game? If you have high standards and only go for Blizzard games, fine, but if you think that not a single other game is selling you have blind eyes. And Steam is for 7th graders? One of the most effective and secure Digital Distributors probably stomps out accounts like that. Not to mention that wouldn't work anyway because each account can only be logged on one comp at a time.

It's already been said, but stupidest comment ever. There are countless great games for PC that aren't developed by Blizzard. Even if they're not as well known, there's tons of console titles that sell great on PC, such as street fighter IV, Oblivion, Battlefield TM, the list goes on. Blizzard is great, but they in no way keep PC gaming alive, that's just nonsense.

Blizzard is a good company but they aren't single handedly keeping PC gaming alive, they rarely launch a lot of game titles that fast enough. And you can't just say World Of Warcraft is what's keeping PC gaming alive either. There's a lot of other PC games that deserve credit more than this and some of those games include Deus Ex, Half Life, Crysis etc.

Crytek has done something for the PC too. Sure , some ppl contradict Crysis, the specs are demand but overall its a cool game and a cool new engine released that's now being used by architecture companies etc. Not forgetting Far Cry as well.

All Blizzard has done is bring a bunch of little children and teenagers into the pc scene with the o so great World of Warsuck,obviously this thread is bogus.

Blizzard isn't single handedly doing it. But Blizzard is probably the only company who only makes pc games. Valve makes console games along with pc games. I respect blizzard in the fact that so far they are the only pc exclusive company that doesn't make a stupid excuse like piracy just to go to consoles. I know they made starcraft on the n64 at one point but haven't made another console game since. Blizzard is probably my favorite pc company just because they are loyal to the pc fanbase. Crytek was really cool until they pulled that stupid excuse "piracy is too much must make console games no more pc exclusives". Blizzard also had good support. Relic is another one of my favorite pc companies but they take way to long to patch their games which is a huge con. Wish they would patch there games faster/more often I mean it took what like almost 2 years to finally release that patch for CoH... Just my 2 cents.

While yes I do hate WoW they have made good games (daiblo series, sc, warcraft series) are all fun games. The only game of Blizzards I dislike is WoW.

I have PS3 and Xbox 360. Last time that I did play at console was in February. I play at PC almost any day; I can't see the problem.
