Blu-Ray has no difference whether games are HD or not, I would get a PC personally so you can use all your other games.

A lot of this will also depend on your display - HDTV, monitor... 720p or 1080p, etc.

Not sure about the movies, you may need to consider HDCP - hi-def content protection - all devices must comply... But, for games, you'll probably want to upgrade your video card to ATI's 2900xt or one of Nvidia's 8800 series cards if you want to play upcoming games that compare to content on the PS3. A new video card will make your old games look nicer too; something to consider about the PC as a platform in general - games you already own get better as you upgrade and replace hardware.

Not true at all. I use a Sony 24" FW900 oldschool CRT monitor and my Lite-on blu-ray drive renders video at full 1080p with no overscan. Maybe I'm just lucky.. or maybe you just don't know what your talking about and would have known that the industry hasn't enforced HDCP yet.

You bet, that's why I said, 'not sure about movies'... I just mentioned that since I've heard it might be an issue - but obviously not in all cases, or with blu-ray anyway.
