This is only my third review but looking for opinions on my performance

It's down right terrible. It's litreally, one of the worst reviews I've ever had to sit through. Full of spoilers, and now I no longer want to play the game. Thanks!


Kidding, I haven't watched it yet, but since I am intrigued by Borderlands 2 I will watch it whenever I get home in a couple of hours. I'm at school, no sound, no point.

Because he's been receiving word of the day on his desktop daily for weeks and finally decided to use some of words he learned. Unfortunately, he had no other alternative but to set him up, then belittle his interview with his newly discovered word. He'll probably forget it in a weeks time, tops.

As for the review, I'm back like I said I would. Sorry I couldn't get to this sooner. First of all, don't listen to the troll, you were dead on when you called it. He's a troll, nothing special happening there and nothing to take to heart. Obviously the guy is mentally impaired, or has some cognitive issues that need to be addressed. Secondly, I do agree with some of the previous posters you do need a new mic, the audio quality was a bit muffled as if you had the mic placed directly under your rear end. Beyond that, I thought the review was great, very informative, well rounded and certainly capable helping someone form an opinion for themselves, if that's what you were going for.

Aside from that, I also agree that it could have been condensed a little to make it shorter, but if that's not your style and others are receptive to it, then that's nothing you need to change. Good luck.

i'd say 8 mins+ is too long a review for a game like borderlands 2. try and condense it down to at least about half that and cut out all the unessential talk, don't labour a point - keep it short and snappy. if i want lots of detail i'll read a review ;)

aesthetically speaking i'd change the font you use in the titles (something more modern and sleek) and consider branding the video with a logo or something

Personally I only watched up to 4 mins because quite frankly I got bored. However, I got a few opinions on the video nonetheless. First I wanna start with a positive. I really liked your video montage. Everything flowed well with what you said, you had the timings well laid out, and the few effects used was very nice. I probably would not remove the intro, but speed it up or shorten it down to get onto the main part of the show.

My complaints are honestly the writing/delivery. A lot of the writing did feel redundant, like when I get to the part of "And you can use BA rank to get [insert stat here] or [insert stat here] or [insert stat here] or [insert stat here] or [insert stat here] or [insert stat here]". Maaaaybe I added a few more than you actually said, but it felt like it dragged on way too long. A brief description of BA rank and stating that levels grant you bonus stats across all of your characters is better than being sooo specific.

Moreso than the writing however to me was the delivery, which is probably going to be the hardest part to improve on without thinking to yourself that you sound goofy. I was listening to the video just thinking that you are sitting there with a sheet of paper in your hand reading it monotonously. Adding some enthusiasm and DEFINITELY speaking faster would help. I felt like you gave your lines way too slow, and maybe too much intermittance between lines at times.

You may know Mike B already, but he is a person that first comes to mind when I think of good game previews/reviews. I'd definitely recommend watching a few of his videos. He speaks enthusiastically with brief pauses, great speed, while maintaining a great sense of information mixed with humor.

1) It's kinda too long :P

2) You should get a better mic
