How do you feel about spending all the money on games you can never ever sell again? :P
You can't sell 99% of games these days anyways, well at least not to smart people. Most games these days require CD Keys or accounts that they are bound to. No half-smart person will buy a used PC game... only ones I'd buy used are pre 2002ish.
Steam is looking into the ability to sell games to other users for a discounted price.
Or sell the code back to Steam for a slice of money back.

I hardly bought any games in a while. But I did buy Brother's in Arms used, and it worked fine. Of course, one should not take that chance with PC games, but if you know its going to be OK and if its a trusted seller, then yeah, its OK. Its still not recommended though.
That would truly be amazing. One of the reasons I don't buy a lot on Steam at least for full price is because they are all virtual. I am a little old fashioned. Its a fantastic service though. Its a true blessing for PC gaming.Steam is looking into the ability to sell games to other users for a discounted price.

I don't sell my games, the value for doing so is sooo low that it would be pointless. Also I have 135 games on steam...Steam is looking into the ability to sell games to other users for a discounted price.

Why would they do that? That sounds like a terrible idea.

I don't sell my games, the value for doing so is sooo low that it would be pointless. Also I have 135 games on steam...I understand. Here is the thing about me. I don't have a lot of money to spend on games. I never bought a game at full price. So lets say I buy a certain game on sale for $20 and I manage to sell if for $10, I recovered half my money.
If on the other hand, I paid $50 for the game, I would never sell it for $10. That's really pointless. I'd rather keep it. Of course, if I wasn't so hard for cash, I wouldn't consider selling.

Really with the deals steam offers you can get most games for $20 or under so who cares. You spend 30% of what you would normally filling your console catalog. Even when you sell games you wont get the same return as you just from the straight forward sales they offer.Wow 150, that is a pretty big feat. I have 9 games on steam :/ But I tend to buy most of my games retail because I like the shiny packages, especially the collectors' editions :) I have a terrible problem of buying too many games at a time, creating a bigger and bigger backlog of games. Seems you might be the same way, maybe.
I'm curious, how many have you finished?

sounds like the best idea ever and one that would actually make me take part in Steam more often. Thus far I have only ever bought 2 games from them and don't intend on getting anymore. If they did this I would buy moreI buy all my games retail even if they are cheaper on steam =/[QUOTE="Prexxus"][QUOTE="h1dd3n5had0w"]

Who cares when you can get games for 33-90% off.
I buy a $50 game on steam for $30, is no different than someone buying a $60 console game then selling it for $30 trade in at gamestop.

Yes well, I am poor. And I don't really care about owning games. Only playing them. Our priorities are different.
