lmao! dude Bruce Lee is crazy awesome
cant play pc no more....kingeliran
People don't understand that this is why gamers should never get involved in physical activity. See what happens? Do you see what happens?! Now you can't be physically active or play games!
I hope you've learned a lesson from this.
:P Kidding.
cant play pc no more....kingeliranYou can always just get some chop sticks 5 at most and paste them to your cast so you can use them as fingers(lot of innovation there).
A broken hand is bad and all, but if it heals, there's no complaining since it's a temporary setback.
My brother's best friend was an avid gamer for quite a while. One night he was struck by a car, and had to have his right hand amputated. For the next few weeks he was deeply depressed. From a once enjoyable, fun loving kid to his one handed sad minded transition was just awful to see.
However, things got better, and he's back to the kick-ass dude he's always been.
Morale of this story: Get well soon!

Okay, that's cool, but... can he play video games? Can he play video games?! For the love of God, please tell me he can still play video games!
...
:P Kidding, again.
try being me! :| a year or two ago i JUST started to REALLY get into my guitaring
(i was starting to get good) and i went out with a few friends. and a chav
(if you live in america i dunno how to describe them lol but basically.. theyre horrible scruffy people that attack for no real reason) punched one of my mates. i was pissed at this and threw him over a fense. then he came back with 7 more chavs. and i just sat there, excreting a little with fear.
and anyways. i punched my way through them all. while i'd caused sufficient damage to say it was 1 on 7 (friends are actually weak as.. they couldnt do anythin) one of them swung an iron bar at me. while i ducked it. i still got smashed in the hand. they ran off bleeding and swearing.
while i layed on the floor in excrutiating pain. anyways i got taken to hospital. they managed to break 2 fingers and my hand, and somehow my rib.. i dont remember getting hit in the rib though O_o but yeah.. i was screwed as i couldnt play the guitar for months lol. but i got fully back into the swing of it.. and to my good fortune i managed to get away with no lasting problems! :)
end of story :)
I've broken my hand a few times but it never stopped me from gaming.
Then again my thumb was never immobilized (a few of my friends broke their hands and had their thumbs immobilized...that's why I noticed) so I just had to make sure I didn't let my cast rest on my keyboard :P

Wow some ppl are killjoys lol Dude you don't have to click on this thread lol
There are plenty of games you can play with just a mouse, one-handed. Did you break you mouse hand? If not, try something like Guild Wars or KoTOR, or even Civ4. As long as you have a few mouse keys to bind a few actions to you should be fine.br0kenrabbit
Ya, just about any RTS can be played with one hand. Same for TBS games too. Civ 4, Galactic Civs 2, and Alpha Centauri will eat up so much of your time.

Ahmadinejad will make you join!
There ya go, we are suggesting games that can be played with just 1 hand, so the topic is relevant. :P
GTR2 can be played with 1 hand PERFECTLY. I played it like that for a while because I don't got a steering wheel. You only need the mouse to go forward with left button; Go backwards and slow down with right button; And smooth steering with the mouse. The only thing I was missing was shifting gears and using the handbreak, ofcourse I could've used my other hand for that, but I was lazy... It was so relaxing just to play with 1 hand. Ofcourse you'll have to tweak the aids a little. You mainly want to enable delayed acceleration and breaking, and no manual gear shifting.
A lot of RTS games can be played with 1 hand. You'll just be a little slower.
Most FPS games can be played with 1 hand. You'll just have to sacrifice the secundairy attack, strafing and walking backwards. In some games that use lots of buttons this can get really tricky because you'll have to sacrifice more.
You should definately get a mouse with more then 3 buttons. Even if your hands are not broken it's a very relaxing luxary to have. No more hunting for keys on your keyboard, just assign them to your mouse!
