hi guys

i need to buy a new case cuz i have some generic one with 2 fans (120mm front and 90mm rear )and the temperature isn't so good , but im low on budget

so here what i can afford :

1)CM 690 2 )Antec 300 3) Thermaltake M9

and does changing the case really help with keeping cpu temperature low , and which is better for big cpu coolers !??!

I have the CM590, and I love it. My Scythe Mugen that I was using fit with an inch or two to spare. And it has more fan holes than most cases. But that also means buying more fans...

The only one of those I have experience with is the M9. I used that case for my GF's build, got it for $50 w/ free shipping. I feel it is a pretty good case. Has good airflow, and the mesh at the front helps stop dust from getting in the case. I have a Tuniq Tower installed on her CPU and the case holds it with a little room to spare.

I am not a fan of the slots on the side panel, but I guess they help with airflow???

Another thing I like about it is the PSU is at the top of the case, not the bottom like the 900, and 690. Not that that's a bad thing, I just prefer top mounted PSU's.

Here's a pic of my GF's setup inside the M9 case, I had to paint it though, it just looked god awful with that plain silver.

The CM 690 is the largest of the 3 and also has the best cooling.

thnx but i prefer to have a bottom psu case , think it may give more room for the cpu cooling besides it comes only with 2 fans !?

Cooler master 690 has the best cooling, and it's more roomy. The cm690 is about the size of a full tower. It's huge.
