What do you need? Mobo, case, cpu, gpu, psu, optical drives? Any compatible harddrives and optical drives etc. that you can use will help reduce the cost and get better parts :) and what have you got? Monitor, m/kb? This will help everyone to help you :Pemperorzhang66
I need everything except a monitor, keyboard, O.S., and mouse.
My monitor is a 1080p lg.
Thanks

I dont wanna sound rude but i'll do it anyway!There/we are dussins of guy's/girls on this board who can make you a fine build within just about anything that comes to custom build PC's, but if you don't even have the manner and/or the intrest in wrtiting a few single words in the/your topic where people are "willingly" spending many good minutes to help YOU i dont think your worth it at all!

Either athlon x4 or a dual core cpu is what your looking for. If you can make it $600, that would be better, but will see what i can do. I'm sure hartsickdiscipl will have a good built now that you've asked nicely :) Usually does.[QUOTE="hkhatir"]

I dont mind going up to $600 if there's gonna be a noticeable performance difference.
Quad cores are very very common now. I would suggest it if your budget allows. I think most dual cores will bottleneck higher-end GPUs unless you overclock them.deathxxshark
would the gtx 460 be considered higher end??
ik thinking of eventually sli'ing them?
thanks for your help btw
I can make a decent build for $500 or less, but I can make one that's significantly better for $520-$530. Is that ok?
Here is one build. I would have preferred to put a GTX 460 1GB or an AMD 6850 in this build instead of the 465, but I was trying to keep it as close to $500 as possible. As it stands, this machine will eat up the games you want to play and most others.
$509.92 is the total before mail-in rebates. The PSU has a $15 MIR.

Mhm. As in, that's not a rip-off price that I gave him, is it?[QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"][QUOTE="ATLReppa770"] Are you recommending that he accepts that deal?ATLReppa770
