Building a computer; Help :)

Well, I'm very close to having the money needed to buy and build a new computer; I've done a lot of looking and reading to get an idea of what kind of parts I want, and this is the build I've settled on. Any comments/suggestions would be much appreciated. :D

That's that. Just wanted some final ideas/comments, and to know if all of this will be compatible. The total with Tax and Shipping comes out to just over 1,000$$, mainly because I did quite a few of Newegg's combos. :D Any other ideas on the PSU would be appreciated, and I was wondering if I should go for the 1gb Sapphire HD4850, or just stick to the ASUS. Thanks in advance. :D

Edit: The price is excluding the OS, but I found a place where I can get it for around 80$.

This would be good for moderate overclocking up to 3.8GHz maybe 4.0Ghz.

Looks good. P45 x8/x8 isn't as good as X48 x16/x16 for Crossfire but still better than P35 x16/x4, or so i've heard.

You can save some money by getting the Corsair 650TX power supply, which is enough to power your system with two hd4850s.

And stick with the Asus hd4850, i don't think the extra 512 MB is worth it.

I don't plan on overlocking it, but I'm thinking of getting an aftermarket CPU Heatsink/Fan; unsure of which to buy, though. Will probably just go with the seemingly popular Arctic Freezer 7. Oh, I've seen Xfire used as shorthand for Crossfire, unless Xfire refers to something else entirely, and I'm horribly mistaken. :P Thanks, though.aeatyes

Yeah Xfire is shorthand for crossfire, but its also a program (google it). If you dont plan on OCing (idk why not, your CPU is great for it) then the freezer 7 pro would be a great choice.

The Zalman is better then the Arctic Freezer but it costs double and since your not overclocking then got with the Arctic Freezer.

I agree Corsair makes some of the best power supplies probably even better then PC Power and Cooling in terms of both quality and price.
