Building a gaming budget PC (first time build) question.

Hey guys i made a build and wanted to see if this would be a good enough gaming pc for me.

I dont care about graphics but i do want games to run smooth.

Will this be good for current gen games maybe next gen games?

Also would there be any problems with this build and if there is would someone tell me a better suggestion?

Btw I need to be 500 dollars or under. Can some one help me out? I dont really go on any other forum.

I'd reconsider the graphics card if you're aiming for current/next gen gaming. I know it's a cheap card, but consider going maybe something like the 6850. You might be able to pick one of those up for a decent price and that card can definitely play current gen stuff.

But then again, you're on a pretty tight budget. It's difficult for me to say looking at US prices.

Oh ok i changed it up alittle. See i dont totally have all the know how to do this sort of thing. I really dont know if any of this is compatable. I kinda need some help on this. Thanks for the reply.

I could suggest you getting a console instead of getting into PC gaming, it'll be cheaper for you in terms of the machine itself.

Get either PS4 for 400$ or Xbox One for 500$, if you'll have a decent budget in terms of spending some good money on a GPU that WILL run next gen games in decent graphics and frame rates like the GTX660 Superclocked or GTX760.

Don't buy an APU, you're spending extra for the integrated graphics that you don't need. For the cost of that 5800 you could get an FX4000 or maybe even 6000 (hex core).

Also an AMD6450 is not worth buying, it's completely useless. I also wouldn't trust that power supply (assuming you get a non-useless GPU.

To be honest I think you need to save up another $100 or you're just throwing money away.

Please don't put that POS PSU in your computer.. Logisys is a junk no name brand and it will likely blow and destroy your entire computer after a few weeks use.

Avoid all Power Supplies by these companies: Logisys, Ace, Rosewill, CiT, Alpine, Sumvision and Ocitgen.

Instead opt for a Power Supply from one of these companies: XFX, Seasonic, Corsair (not Builder) Enermax, EVGA and Antec.

This is good advice, i had an alpine 750 psu.... was all good for a couple of months untill my pc shut down and sparks came flying out my pc.... lucky my board has some kind of protection.

what ever you build dont get a cheap psu you may regret it..

Wow good thing I came here to ask before i bought all this stuff. Really wish I had a friend that was into this stuff but I really dont want to get a console. Ive been using steam and tons of games for it and i love steam way more than using psn or nintendos downloadable games. Plus im intrested in building computers so Im definitly not going back to consoles.

You dont need a cpu cooler since AMD supplies you one. since you are getting an APU you dont need that 6450 gpu. also change out that psu with a better quality one like Corsair CX 500 psu.

with the savings you can upgrade that APU to a A10 6800k which can get you by until you get the funds for a dedicated gaming gpu.
