Ok so which parts at tiger direct will be best for me? i want it to be able to run all games smoothly, inlcuding crysis on medium/high settings.

I have already chosen a graphics card, but if you want to make a reccommendation please include it.Nvidia cards are preffered.

Graphics Card:

210$ on sale.

So from here what would be best to put in my system?

I'm going with GA-EP45-DS3L, E8500, you already have the same GPU as me, and I am also getting 2x2Gb sticks of DDR2 @ 800Mhz RAM. I have a 550WPSU which I hope will be enough, but I might upgrade to a 700W. It's going to cost me about $1000AU so that might be about $500-700US. I know, large margin, but that's a general idea.

It depends ifyou want an SLI set-up in the future. you might be able to afford a better mobo and better CPU than me.

I've done a bit of research and I'd say it's medium-high settings for most games at like 1280x1024, but don't quote me on that. The otheroption is the ATI HD4850 which is pretty much on par with the 9800GTX+, although it varies from benchmark to benchmark so I think you have to go with personal preference or pricing. If you can spare the dough then you could go up to a GTX240 (I think) or a better motherboard or CPU than what I am getting.

for 40 more dollars you could get this card which from what i've read and seen is way fasterhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150330&Tpk=xfx%20260%20black%20editionits also the card i'll most likely be getting when I get a new computer.

You might also try Magic Micro ( new here so I hope links are ok) http://www.magicmicro.com/ I I just bought one from them after giving up on Ebay. They let you customize to any degree are cheap and fast. I got an AspireX window case, AMD 6000, Biostar 770 mb and decent ps along with 2 color fans for $260. Basically a barebones and then I installed the drives, memory, video card etc) Or they can build in everything.
