Change the 9800 for a Radeon HD4850, instead.

And that PSU would be barely enough. A 550w one should be perfect.

Keep in mind that you'll also need a copy of a 64-bit Windows.

Other than the psu whch is not enough it's great.

if you can afford a quad core it would be excellent, but it's not necessary. It should have a fairly large lifetime in the way it is right now!

i dont think there is much point in going quad for a few reasons, price, worse in games (from what ive read cos i dont want to argue lol) and the new intel chipset is soon. but obviously the most important is that they normally out perform cpus like the quad q6600 in games

I'd go with a P43 board if you're looking to overclock. Biostar makes a good one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138122

I have that board and I am going to RMA it. The layout is pretty weird, and the Northbridge heatsink is way too close to the CPU socket.

Get this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138126

Also get a 4850 or 4870 and you're set. Make sure your PSU is decent though.
