You could get a 512MB 8800GT for about $250 or for a little extra power get the 512MB 8800GTS(G92) for $300. Just to go www.newegg.com to look at the prices.
about 14 feb but dont wait till that time. They are only releasing 9800gx2 which isnt in your budget for sure and the low-range card 9600GT which 8800GTS can beat it easily.
