im building a rig for a friend, cant really assess the budget because the prices here are different than in the US (live in israel, for example a 4850 cost around 300 us dollars here) so just tell me what you think about the parts

CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750 *Edited* to E8300
Mobo: Gigabye EP35-DS3L
RAM: 2x1GB OCZ Platinum Revision 2 XTC 800mhz
GPU: sapphire HD 4850 512MB
Hard disk: Western Digital 250GB
Case:Thermaltake SopranoRS 101 *Edited* to Antech 900
PSU: Enermax PROU82+ 525W

he already have a monitor, with native 1280x1024 resolution

CPU is outdated, E7200/E8200/E8400 are the current models.

i checked about 4 reviews, in all of them the 4850 is faster in all the games (maybe you're confusing with the 3850?)

you base you opinions on belief about the current gen of GPUs? look at some reviews, the new cards from ATI are killers

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, probably because COH and all RTS games are CPU dependent.

ok so i changed the

CPU to E8300
Case to Antech 900, because the thermaltake one only had one fan and the 4850 is running hot according to reviews.

Beautiful build, especially the GPU. But that CPU needs to become either a E8400 or a Q6600.

Pfft, that's just an issue with the fan speed, if you want you can wait for dual-slot cooler 4850s.
