Just wanted to know ifthis PSU is going to be ok, a friend gave it me. Its an Antec 650 true power trio TP3-650. The parts I have order are AMD 955 BE, Powercolor 5850, 4 gig G.skill trident DRR3 1600 ram and M4A79XTD evo mobo.

This, but also be sure to check the amps on the 12v. Alot of people see that a PSU is "high-wattage" and never think to look at the 12v rails.And remember, if you're gonna use SLI/Cross Fire mode (more than one graphic cards), be sure to get a higher wattage.
Oh and check to see if they're compatable.

Check the amps on the 12v rails. No matter it will be fine for one, though if you CF you will want a different PSU. I personally can never go back to a non-modular design, but it does not matter.Thanks for the replys. I wasn't to sure about this PSU as its roughly 4 years old. Does it matter if its not modular. It says three +12V rails, is that a good thing ?

I probably won't crossfire for a long time, can't afford much after this build. I just got my 5850 in the mail 5 mins ago. My CPU,RAM and Mobo should be here tomorrow or the next day. All this waiting is killing me. I hope you guys can help me out when everything arrives as this my first build and Im sureI will mess something up.
