Building new PC - will it work?

i'm building a pc, so far i've covered the speakers, monitor, PSU, fan and the case. now all i need to do is check if the parts work and are compatible with each other. RAM - TWIN2X4096-6400C5C - 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-18 Mobo - MSI P43 Neo-F, iP43, S 775, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), DDR2 1066/667/800, SATA II, ATX Harddrive - 500-GB-Hitachi-Deskstar-7K500-SATA-300-7200-rpm-16MB-Cache-85-ms-NCQ Processor - Intel BX80571E7400 E7400 Core 2 Duo Processor - 2.80 GHz,3MB Cache,1066MHz FSB,Socket LGA775,45 nm,3 Year Warranty,Retail Boxed Graphics card - XFX nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS 500M 640MB Express Graphics card - PV-T80G-TDF4 DVD drive - Lg Gh22np20 Auaa50b 22x Dvdrw Bare Black DOES this all work?

CPU change.

RAM change.

GPU change.

Now looks good and future proof ;).

CPU change.

Now looks good and future proof ;).

Yeah; "You get what you pay for" doesn't really apply to Intel's Dual Cores.

Go AMD if you don't want 4 cores and/or have a budget.

also make sure your power supply is future proof and also a very good quality one, do NOT skimp. im having problems with my ocz one at the moment, and its really really annoying.

Why would I suggest you compatible components? It is in my great interest that you get bad and incompatible parts because I hate you. Does that sound logical?
