Sorry for making another thread but as the other one is kinda long it's not getting anymore answers and i have about 16 hours before i have to order everything. I will be deleting the questions answered.

Ok so these are hopefully my last questions:

IS the artic cooler 7 worth 32$ if im not going to overclock my Q9400?

How does this lookhttps://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=9667845 I just need to add a Cooler MAster 690 + Q9400.

Is everything alright? ( As in compatible and nothing else in its price range destroys it?)

Is it worth going from ddr2 800 to ddr2 1066. The jump is about 30$. Worth it? Was thinking this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227289

In this video at around 23 seconds what is that? Is that some kind of fan control? Anyone know what kind? it looks BA.

Are fan controls necessary? And i've been already told that i don't really need additional fans on my CM690 but does any feel that i do? I feel like adding 2 120mm fans on the empty slots on the top w/ blue led idk if its necessary or not.

Can anyone give me/ direct me to a guide that explains everything i have to do after i build it. From Bios config to Fan/Heat Programs, os installation, driver installation and benchmarking/any other programs i need to know about.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSMuXAltKo0&feature=related

And the last question:Which one of these motherboardsis the best://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128372 , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359. And is the 115$ worth the 15$ jump?

1680x1050 is very nice certainly. with that 4890 it will be a very good fit. I have XFX4870 1 GIG and its been flawless plus lifetime warrenty. I have the XFX 4890 on the way. The XFX has a lifetime warrenty, plus it comes with free hawx game both the overclocked and non-overclocked versions do. But sapphire is also a great card you can't go wrong with either but I give the slight edge to XFX.

I would say no the overclocked version is not worth the $20. If I had to answer, because all reviews show all the 4890s overclock well. I never played hawx but its free withall XFX 4890cards right now.

look at the picture of the box it has a hawx picture on the bottom and thats what it says on the xfx site and someone posted it here in this forum. the overclocked is only by 25 on the core speed and video, the non-overclocked will do that easily. its just advertised to sell the overclocked.

if you are unsure then go with the overclocked definetly, its only $20, yeah its the extreme. You won't need a aftermarfet cooler if you won't overclock your cpu. I can't really say on your other questions.

you won't need any additional fans for the case, 3 is plenty. mine only has 2 and its nice and cool. and I run crossfire. I don't know ifthe cpu and coolercomes with the thermal paste. But I do see people recommend usinga high quality brand. Read the specs on the cpu and cooler it might say if it comes with the paste.

On the website under what the package contains it said "Intel® designed thermal solution (Fan, Heatsink)" So im pretty sure that means it has some. But if it comes un applied, i add a pea sized amount to the cpu and spread it evenly with like a plastic card of some sort right? And do you know where i can find a guide on what to do after i install the pieces. Cuz i have no idea what part of the bios i have to configure, when i update drivers, when i install the OS and what programs i need to track the fan and the heat and other programs that i might need.

well I do know once you got it all hooked up and the OS installed you need to go to the ATI website and download the 9.4 Catalyst drivers and the CCC for your video card and operating system. This is how you will overclock your video card and control the video card fan. My video card fans are set at 32% when not playing games and 42% when playing games, see what works for you. You will see the temps in the CCC also for the video card. I don't let it go over 60c when playing games.

CCC? And what do you mean you don't let it go past 60c? What if it does? Do you know what i should search to get an in-depth guide?

Yeah but The it about same price once you ship and get the MIR You shoudl get the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 It Really nice of how it worth it money compare to Artic Freezer Pro 7 it Would offer Better Cooling i heard from a Friend

You have enough place to put it inside tough a CM 690 as enough place I have same tower But Iv put instead a thermalright 120 Extreme True (come with 2 fan clip) put a S-FLEX on top and it run smooth but it huge i can tell :D But you don't have enough money for such cooler :D it great
I hope there Exist LGA 1336 Clip to mount my heatsink in future :P cause If i get a core i7 Westmere / Sandybridge Id Likely want to keep my cpu cooler
