I'm surprised they still make racing games for the PC. I would think too few PC gamers would be interested in playing racing games on their PC for it to be profitable, but we even get PC-exclusive racing games, so apparently that's not the case.

I would like to try this game, as I like racing games, just haven't found one that keeps my interest yet.

But from some friends I have been told that as far as the Burnout series goes, Paradise is not the best for gameplay from the series to date.

Any feedback on this?

I don't why but I have a bad feeling about this port. I just think it's going to be a bad one. I hope it isn't, Paradise is an awesome game.

I have a 360 and I love Burnout Paradise. Very fun game and I love the open world since you can do anything you want.

Since when are PC gamers limited in anyway that would make this true? Are you telling me you don't own a decent controller with your gaming PC?

That would be dumb. Would it?

No, I don't own a controller for my PC. Mouse and keyboard has worked fine for everything for me so far. Anyway, it's not a matter of it being limited, it's just that I would think racing games would be almost entirely an interest of console gamers. It surprises me that enough PC gamers are interested in racing games for a developer to make enough money from them as PC-exclusives.

Yeah why do we need racing games? it's not like PC gaming needs anything else other than FPS games and mediocre RPG games.

You'd be surprised how many gamers want to play racing games on PC.

And some of you ask if PC gaming is doomed. Why should it be? it's not like anyone on PC plays games that are not FPS or RTS, right?

Meh, the whole free-roam thing is not something I like in racing games. The first Underground is the last good NFS game, after the whole 'drive around the city'-approach to gameplay, I pretty much lost interest in racing games (other than Colin McRae).

Same with Paradise.

Burnout 3 was a really fun, could not care less about the new one.

I had it for PC, wasn't impressed. I sold it off.

Loved earlier iterations but this one actually doesn't have the whole "fly into intersection and create havoc".

It has another system where you "initiate" a crash sequence when you're still driving - kinda cheesy.

Open world rocks when the world has stuff in it i.e. GTAIV etc.

Open world thats just cars and some nice scenery while driving w/ mediocore handling not my type of game.

I think PGR4 really "changed" me. :(
