buying a new monitor for games

if im gonna buy a new lcd monitor with a native of 1360x780 for example, does it mean

anything with a different resolution will look bad?

and whats "RGB in" input in lcds? is it actually componenet input? can i connect ps2 to it?

Ok than because there is no such native resolution, if you are using a non-native rezolution the quality will not be the same

Playing games on your monitor's resolution does technically degrade the image. However, I often play at a lower resolutions than my monitor's native (1680x1050) to increase performance or while playing older classic games. The picture in the games is constantly moving and I've never had a noticable, much less unbearable, drop in image quality.

For example, I'm playing Fallout right now at 800x600 and I've got no problems at all because those games aren't impressing anyone with their graphics right now.

so do u want a an lcd tv?, obviously not a high end monitor with that resolution, how big of an lcd are you looking for?, and yes rgb is component, it stands for the red green and blue color coded wires
