going to buy BF4 since im off work for the rest of the week.... is the digital deluxe version with China Rising worth the extra cash? it supposedly adds 4 more maps... but do people actually play them?

reason i ask is, i can get the standard game on GMG for 45 dollars.... or i can buy the digital deluxe on origin for 70.... 25 extra dollars is quite a bit for 4 extra maps but if they are good and people play them, ill probably clock enough hours in the game to justify it.

@Geminon: No it is not worth the extra $25 dollars the DLC alone is probably only going to cost 10-15$ separately

You can buy the premiun deal that gives access to all DLC for 50$, it's a better deal imo.

The best deal would have been a preorder, which has the first expansion for free. If you can still find a limited edition, it should give you exactly that. Otherwise, getting premium would be the other good option, as it is much cheaper than buying DLCs individually. And yes, people do play them. BF3's expansions are not just map packs, they offer new challenges, weapons, attachments, vehicles, gamemodes, etc. BF3 to this day people still play all the available maps and modes.

Battlefield 3 without the expansions is really limited and without premium it limits your server choice even if you bought all the expansions separately.

You can probably find BF4+China Rising for the same price as the standard game without China Rising.

Well not sure if I can post links to sites that sell game keys, but I paid 40 euros for BF4 yesterday and it includes the China Rising DLC, if you want the link msg me.

I got the Premium Edition with the first map pack for the same price as the base game (£33).

No chance in Hell I would buy it, but that's just me. I don't support the draconian DRM and poor game development standards that Electronic Arts offers. There's a reason they were rated the worst company in America for 2 years in a row.

Go to origin and click on the Info button besides the play one, it will tell you what expansions your game has... Cheers
