I'm getting a Dell Inspiron 1505 tonight:

It'll have 2 GB's RAM(533MHz)
120 GB Hard Drive
Unfortunately Integrated Graphics + Sound
Vista Home Premium

The comp will just be for general purpose use and some video viewing (not much gaming).

Sould I get: 1) Intel Core Dou T2350(1.86 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) or 2) Intel Core Dou 2 T5300(1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB).
Price is $916 vs. $980.
Any thoughts?

Just get the cheaper one. The C2D is only slightly better and since it is clocked lower and costs $70 more, I personally don't think it is worth it.

You have plenty of RAM, and if you are only using it for usual, every day stuff, it really doesn't matter which one you pick, so go with the cheaper one.

Sounds like pretty sound advice. Thanks, this makes it an easier decision.
