Okay! I have really really bad experiences with my Visa card wen buying online, my question is how reliable is steam when buying a game? I'm about to buy CS Source and it's asking me for my credit card number and info (actually I'm at the part already). When it successfully goes through the process will I get my CS Source Info right away or will I have to wait a day(s).

After you input your CC info, you'll be taken to the authorize page. When you click on 'Purchase,' Steam will verify your CC info, and give you a receipt page. Clicking on 'Continue' from that page will give you the option to open your 'My Games' tab and from there you can watch as your download automatically begins.

...with CS: S this should be the case. However, if you ever pre-order a game that has the pre-load option, you'll download the game, but the game itself will be locked until the release date.

not sure about credit card; i mostly use paypal when buying steam games. but as far as buying with paypal is concerned, i have not encountered any problems ever. and yeah, as soon as the credit card is validated, you can start downloading the game that you bought.

That all depends on where you live. Some states in the US have an online sales tax, so that would add anywhere from 5-10% of the initial buying price depending on your state's sales tax rate.

steam secure and legit, you don't have 15 million customers if they take more than what they say will be charged. Before you proceed finally it will/should tell you the tax, but probably in USD still.
