Call of Duty 4 or Unreal Tournament 3

CoD 4 hands down. UT3 will get some awesome mods, but it will take a long time to make them.

It depends on ur taste - both are twitch-based and have great multiplayer, so it rlly boils down to whether u want a game that is primarily singleplayer (cod4, however awsum the multiplayer is) or a game that is primarily multiplayer (unreal tournament 3). I rlly think u should just get both, they were both great.

UT3 by the most.

but nothing can beat UT2004

I'd be shocked if we didn't ;) I have UT 3 too and I'm sure that most of the ones that said CoD 4, played at least the UT 3 demo.

I thought UT3 was as someone put it garbage.

why is it garbage? it's very similar to ut2k4, which is considered by many to be the finest example of multiplayer fragging. sure, it didn't do anything new (essentially), but it's a very good game.

I haven't played UT3, still CoD4 is the best Fps experience I've had in games, both single player and mutliplayer.

It's got a very good singleplayer and a strong multiplayer

If anything I felt it was different from UT2k4. I enjoyed UT2k4 much more than this one. Gameplay just wasn't fun and didn't feel like ut2k4, in addition to that during my experience I had a lot of hassle just connecting online which didn't help the games cause, when I finally went online there only a couple of servers.

I only gave it a try during the first few months of release so I don't know if more people are playing now but it wouldn't change my stance, the game for me isn't as fun as UT2k4 and when in contrast I've got other multiplayer games that offer better, UT3 comes off as disappointing, well thats the way it is for me anyway.
