i have played through the first few levels, (got it from the uk) and io wanna say its a waste of time, i mean the visuals r kinda nice if u can say that (not that far from far cry). I mean if you have plyed through far cry, it basically kinda looks the same just diffrent models and i dont think there was enhancement to the engine at all, all that said i give it a 7.5/10
IMO ... Call Of Juarez rox be it in graphics , action , storyline or soundquality.I played / beat the full game.
But yes some cons which i felt was ; i prefered Reverend Rays missions over Billies missions .And if the load times were more faster .Its mp should be improved also.

Heh, sorry, but in my opinion that doesn't justify the 7,5 too well.
COJ dosen't look at all like Far Cry especially in the character department. Probably one of the most visually impressing games to date. Loved the demo can't wait for it to have a US release.
Its a waste of time.. boring.. and a very slow start.. and loading times sux.. anyways.. it was a nice try.. but why cant they let us see how u die without darkening the screen?? my GOD that sux.. so why having a nice phisics engine if they dont let us enjoy it.. that is tupid.. ok.. thats my opinion.. the same mistake i saw in oblvion.. nice game.. but i think they are brainless when game programers do that kind of mistakes. Let us enjoy phisic engineeees!

Trees and sun doesn't make it look anything like Far Cry.
I'd say CoJ is different and refreshing. If you're a western fan, you'll take to it like fish to water, and if you're not, you might just become one. :) The gameplay is unique in many ways and the different perspectives of Billy and the reverend make it like two games in one as the way you play each are so different.

So I will give it the score I think Prey should have gotten too, 7.1

I never found controls frustrating. Those were fine. And i dont think that this game was developed for 360 first. It deserves atleast a 9.0

LOL at least a 9?! Oh my. You have just killed all your credibility on this game. Only games that are "all time classics" get 9.0+ scores. There is no way CoJ will be anything close to an all time classic.
But that is exactly what I predicted. When Prey came out there were some weird people saying it was "at least a 9" too.:roll:

Not at all, m'man.. it was developed first for the PC and already released in Europe and Australia a year ago for that platform. The very reason it is being delayed for the US release is for adding in the console functionality.
And I too never found any problems with the controls. Its just that this game adds new ways of shooting and other things like lassoeing, etc. that were not found in most generic shooters so its tough to adapt yourself well to them at first but once you gel with them, they'll be second nature to you.

Yeah but I didnt like the game enough to care to try to get used to the controls. So I really dont care. I had a copy of the full game and have aready unistalled it and deleted it.Â

That's so annoying. The demo was fun & I was looking foward to this game a little. Why do we have to wait for the 360 version to be ready?
Well, one possible reason could be that they're adding in extra content for the US PC release, such as more multiplayer maps and a few improvisations to Billy's missions that I'm not sure what.
Even though I have yet to play the full game, I liked it alot judging from the demo. Graphics are nice, shooting works well, nice individuality in the characters and their play styles and in the end, there simply aren't enough Western themed shooters, for any platform.
