I always get my hopes up with the news of any old-west themed game. We just don't see enough of them. I liked the first Juarez more than most people, although I admit it wasn't perfect. But the things I liked most about it, most others hated. Such as the sneaking and platforming parts. So I am afraid the new game won't have any of this and will be "just another shooter".
But I am more interested in Red Dead Revolver Redemption. The new trailer for that game is awesome. Too bad it's won't be on the PC, but I will settle for the 360 version.
I liked the first one's multiplayer and the single player experience as good ol' father Ray, the sequence with that other guy was bad, now a whole game with uncle Ray will be awesome...
I was until I read that they took all the stealth elements out. I thought it still might be OK until I watched teh preview videos and saw the bizarre Predator target lighting system. Now I have zero interest.
I didn't particularly like the stealth elements in the first game I don't think many others did either. Taking them out is a pretty good move imo, the first game had good variety and gunplay so yes I'm looking forward to it, probably preorder when it comes up on Steam.
I thought the first one was...almost acceptable - it was just really rough around the edges; this upcoming sequel seems to have corrected a lot of these issues - and it looks more smooth - it will probably get something around a 7.5 from Gamespot...
