umm no it wasnt difficult for me... and i played it with a controller on the 360, would of been much easier with mouse and keyboard, i beat it twice, normal and hard difficulty. though i will say i have been playing command and conquer since the very first on MS-DOS.. even before the 95 versions.

timed missions are crap no matter which game you play. not sure why games have them, they aren't fun.

The GDI campaing is quite easy, but Nod(few last missions, and some others) and Scrin campaings are IMO very hard. I havent been able to play the Scrin campaing above easy because I cant keep up with the AI. :/

NOD, Easy at first but then the difficulty goes way up.

Haven't gotten to the last campaign yet

interesting thread, althogh it turns to a crazy multiplayer issues arguements i didnt know previous versions was easier but thats not necessarily a bad thing but makes the game longer to complete

If you think that is tough, try one of the skirmishs at Hard or Brutal. I don't understand how anyone can survive the first assualt wave even if you handicap the computer at -95%...

as RTS, this game is not difficult at all. it's been a while, but I can only remember one mission that is somewhat difficult.

also, timed mission often time is the highlight of RTS, making the game more challenge and intense and yes, maybe not to you, "fun."

at any rate, since you're not a good RTS player (you said it yourself~~), is it normal a RTS game makes you feel tough?

I would have to agree that the NOD gets quite difficult towards the end.

It can be quite tough, but it's certainly not impossible. With some of the missions on the nod campaign, it's just a matter of trial and error, finding out what works against what and a good strategy in general.

I wouldnt considre it challenging.

There was one mission in TW(the one that you didnt have enough power)which was very tough...other then that, it was realy easy even on hard. Also, the AI in the skirmish was realy realy stupid...

so if you found TW tough(worst AI ever i think)you are not realy a good RTS player...

Caddy06_88

exactly, trial and error thats what made me write this thread from the beginning, i thought the game was challenging for not completing any mission on the first attempt

It's been a while now, but I don't remember having much of a problem beating this game on hard. I thought it threw in a twist, but not really a tactical challange.

Like I said, though, it's been a while...
