Have there been know issues of the game running on Vista? I've been trying to run mine but it hardly gets past the opening logo. I've patched them but it still doesn't work.

I have no problem runnig C&C Generals in Vista (I have First Decade). Just chose Windows XP SP2 in compatiblity tab, that should work.

I've loaded First Decade up and run most of the games including Genereals and Zero Hour with no problem on Vista. At least in single user mode. I have a laptop running XP SP2 with Generals Deluxe Edition (Generals, Zero hour and the Map Editor) and have not been able to run a network game between them. I get the synchronization error after the game starts. Any ideas? Try using compatibility mode on the Vista side?

My Generals and Zero Hour both play fine on my laptop that has Vista.

I think I had selected XP sp2 compatibility and ran it as administrator.
