Yeah, these are two very different games, supreme commander is tactical and absolutly massive, while CNC3:TS will be quite small in comparison, but a lot more intense, they are also both exceptional games.
Yes people need to stop making posts about this... They are two very different games and the only thing they have in common is the fact that they're both RTSs...
I found SupCom to be missing too many gameplay features and to just have too many flaws for me to find fun. C&C3 seemed too much like the older games and no advance forward so i feel like why should i pay for the esact same game again?
I'm not sure about anyone else but i for one LOVE the insanity that is in most CNC games, esp RA2, I love the depth of CoH and it is a really great game but, it is nothing compared to the speed of RA2 etc, Im so biased ^^
I've played both games and think that they are both great, but I'll have to give the nod to Supreme Commander. I absolutely love the amount of strategy involved. Contrary to popular belief, the game is not a rush to get the most units. While doing that can win you a game against inexperienced players, doing that with an experienced player will get you slaughtered. In order to win, you must find your opponent, anticipate your opponent's actions, and then counter.
i like CNC because of the story and because its the RTS ive grown up with. Supreme Commander has a great multiplayer to it, with the huge scale and all, but its story isnt all that good and in depth. but the graphics go to CNC because they are just amazing. in the end im getting them both :D
