Can a 8600GT run crysis >.>?

so, my old computer broke and my new computer cant fit a Geforece 8800GTS inside (case is barely too small).

my friend offered to trade me fore his 8600GT, which i know isnt as good.

can an 8600GT run crysis if its overclocked properly?

and how do i overclock it properly!?

I would also recommend to download CCC 2.21 mod for crysis, its MUCH better optiomised and you will get better visual & performence.

I hope you aren't trading for keeps, just temporarily because he's basically stealing from you. The 8600gt will run crysis. Put rez @ 1024x768 and settings to medium.

Whats the next best graphics card that is SLightly shorter then an 8800GTS? would an 8800GT or a 9500 be shorter then the 8800GTS?

what about just transfering everything from this comp and buying a new case? how hard would that be >.>?

Cut a hole through the case, make sure the hole is big enough for the card, then stick it in there. The card should stick out, but then cover that part with some plastic or something... be creative!

There is a much better card than the 8800GTS.

Sapphire HD4850 dualslot fansink, with re-designed PCB, it's shorter than the stock card.

It should have the same length as the 8600GT.
