This is a remake of my old thread with pics and new info.

I was wondering if any of you computer guru's can help me out you see i currently own a ps3 and wanna start gaming on my pc again but its weak so i was wondering if you guys could help me build a computer that can run most games on medium or high heres what my computers current specs are below i have from 100 to 200 dollars max to spend on my computer upgrades so if you guys can help me build a shopping cart on newegg of needed parts i woul really apreciate your knowledge and help your giving me

lol na i just need 2 gigs of ram and a graphics card im not trying to impress any 1 i just wanna be able to play all the games with decent graphics without lag.

kudos, you are one of the few people where the CPU is ACTUALLY bottlenecking games. but then again, every other parts on your computer is even worse...

well if it makes you feel better, CPM_basic's advice is very good, then again, for the amount of money you will be investing to even do what he suggests, i think it's a pretty big waste, just buy a next gen console and it'll be a better deal for you

edit: saw your pictures and by the looks of it your computer is bought prebuilt so i don't think you can overclock it through the bios. that basically rules out the possibility of speeding up your cpu

I also don't know the power supply of your system, hopefully if you do follow his advice, be sure to check your power supply can even support the power required for his suggested agp graphic cards

Im thinking about spending 500$ building a gaming comp in april but idk.Can i build a computer with better graphics than consoles for that much?

gaming on the pc definitly cost more than the consoles. for a lot of the cases it's the graphic card that takes the biggest chunk out of your budget. if you intend to play at a console resolution on a big screen tv, 500 dollars can barely cover a good graphic cards
