Whats up guys just wanted someone experienced to help me build my rig

Im from the UK so there's less websites to choose from.. scan.co.uk , cclonline.com , aria.co.uk are pretty good

I already have a 500GB Samsung HDD and an nVidia Gigabyte Super.OC Edition GTX260

My budget is around £250-£300 and i need a case, 4gb ram, quad-core processor, mobo, psu and mouse

I'm also looking for a 23-24" monitor (around £140 with good contrast/response rate)

Also, is this selection good for £300?

AMD Phenom II x4 965

ASRock 880GX-USB3

Coolermaster Elite 430

500W Corsair Builder Series

4GB Patriot Viper II.1333MHz RAM Speed, CAS 7-7-7-20 Timings

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

As he said, get the 955 instead of the 965 to save a couple of pounds. Case is really up to you TBH.

1333 MHz CAS 7 ram ain't worth it, 1600 MHz CAS 9 usually perform better, and it's cheaper.

Your complete lack of understanding my point along with your nefarious "lol", oversimplified statement, lack of punctuation and generally poor English is just sickening.

and your complete ignorance of anything related to the thread at hand leads me to believe that you are unable to contribute to the conversation in anyway thats worthwhile. so as many folks before me have said: "GTFO"

and if you even think about dragging timings into this you clearly only have one concern on the brain which would be memory overclocking which is quite  indeed

I simply suggested changing a component to a cheaper and slightly better performing alternative, how is that not related to a rig composition thread?

just stick with the x4 955 imo 955 will last you much longer than the 555 who might or might not be able to unlock ( really its a 50/50 ) . Besides is 30-40 pounds difference so imo not worth it dropping to 555 Also try finding an AM3+ compatible motherboard ( the ones with the black cpu socket ) so you wont be limited in future upgrades ( AM3+ will support upcoming AMD bulldozer cpus )
