I want to get a new PC. Right now My PC is very very old. It struggles to play Fallout 3 on med. and my games are full of sluttering makeing them unplayable at times.

I don't want to upgrade my PC because it would take alot of work. I would have to change everysingle part that really its not worth it.

So I was wondering if anyone could reccomand me a good PC so I can play my games the proper way. I do want a PC that can Play the games on "High" nothing lower.( I don't care about AA and only place my AF at 2x)

My native res is only 1024 x 768 but im happy because my monitor is not LCD because my PC is placed above my desk. (So I don't need a new monitor.)

Dude.

I dont suggest a pre built anything especially pc.

Just build your own its not that difficult. Im sure gamepsot members willl help you out too.

ITs much cheaper. A prebuilt computer costing abou 1200 could prolly be built by you in your price range.

Yes, and with your price range you wont be able to find a high end pre built, but if you do build it yourself you can have a really good pc with that price range

I don't think you understand. You get a computer case and pick the parts when you build your own. You don't need your computer that you have now updated. That is called upgrading not building your own. Building your own, you just buy all the parts seperate and put them together.

You never want to buy pre-built if you want a gaming computer. If you don't want to put the parts together yourself. Geek Squad at BestBuy can do it for much cheaper than you can buy a pre-built for. All they charge is a simple fee.

EVGA 9800 GT - 124.99

E7300 CPU - 119.99

4GB Corsair DDR2 800 - 54.99

ASUS P5Q SE PLUS LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - 96.99

Antec 900 Mid-Tower - 109.99

650W Cooler Master PSU - 79.99

500GB Western Digital Drive - 59.99

Add some random DVD drive for ~ 25 bucks

You may need to buy some speakers also, unless you have some which I assume you do.

And it all adds up to around 671 dollars. Of course, you can mix and match and possibly downgrade a couple parts if you're not looking into spending that much.

Alienware has dropped their prices significantly, you can get a 1500 dollar prebuilt with 22" monitor and 200W 2.1 speakers, and its a perfectly good system.

I could build the same system fr 1200, but still, not bad.

Actually this is a really good setup. I can vouch for the case being awesome. Aqtually this is the best thing you can buy in your price range. I highly suggest this.

A good pre-built PC for 400-700? Such thing doesn't exist.
